Visit the URA web portal ura.go.ug and on the home page, click Make a payment
From the menu on the left hand side, click Generate a payment slip and select Click here to register a payment
On the payment registration page;

Under payment details>>Tax head, select the correct tax head for which you want to make payment e.g. income tax and  click on load periods
Under load periods, Fill in the period for which you are making payment and click Add period
Next, fill in the amount to pay
Under payment methods, enter text from the given image and click Accept and Register.
Once you have submitted, the payment registration slip will be generated. Take note of the payment registration number that is indicated on the payment registration slip or print the slip and make payment in the bank or via mobile money or any other URA payment modes.

NOTE: The applicant must be over 18 years and above of age , and starter classes or groups are; A-Motorcycles, B-Motor cars with a seating capacity up to 7, Dual purpose and goods vehicles up to 3.5tons and H- Tractors
NB: Provisional permit is valid for three months and renewable at a cost.

ï‚· Uganda operation ID passport for UN personal.
ï‚· National ID for East African member countries ( Kenya, Tanzania and Rwanda) for nonUgandans.
ï‚· Refugee identity cards issued by Prime minister’s office for refugees.
ï‚· Translation from Makerere University or own embassy if not in English.
ï‚· Diplomatic ID for Diplomats

LOST –
ï‚· Attach a written police statement, a newspaper advert.
ï‚· Change of Particulars: Affidavit and gazette, Payment of stamp duty.
ï‚· Duplicate fees paid.
ADD OR CHANGE OF NAMES: e.g. Husband’s or any acquired names, attach the following:
ï‚· Marriage certificate
ï‚· Birth certificate
ï‚· Affidavit
Note: the vehicle must have been validated and it has a new logbook, you can get one following
the guide below;
