Customs Valuation is the process of finding out the value of goods brought into the country (imported goods) for taxation purposes.
This is the value of an imported good used to calculate ad valorem customs duties and taxes.
For goods imported using road rail and marine transport modes, the customs value includes the Price actually paid or payable for the goods, cost of insurance and freight.
