- Uganda Revenue Authority shall dispose Boarded off Motor Vehicles, Motor Boats and Motorcycles by Electronic Auctioning.
- Prospective bidders are required to visit URA Website: ura.go.ug or a direct link:https://ura.go.ug/en/opportunities/auctions/auctioning-application/ to access the application platform and user manuals/guide to help in navigating the system to view/inspect items for disposal, place bid(s) and make payments for the assets where they have emerged as the highest bidder(s).
- Physical inspection of the assets will be granted for those who wish to do so at URA Nakawa Headquarters from 20th November to 2nd December 2025 during working hours (8:00AM – 5:00PM) except weekends and public holidays.
- After viewing/inspection of the assets, interested bidders are advised to login onto the system using their Tax Identification Number (TIN) and its password to place a bid on a Lot of their choice.
- Assets shall be auctioned on “As Is, Where Is”
- The successful bidder shall be notified through their TIN e-mail address and SMS. The bidder shall be required to generate a payment registration number (PRN) from their TIN Login to make payment for the asset(s) within 24Hours from the date of the Auction.
- Failure to pay within 24 Hours, the item(s) will automatically be awarded to the second (2nd) highest bidder.
- After acknowledging the payment for the asset from the highest bidder, URA will initiate the handover certificate which shall be sent to the successful bidder through their email address.
- Bidders are required to printout the handover certificate, sign and present it at the address below;

- To collect the asset(s), successful bidders shall present; a copy of the signed handover certificate (system generated), a copy of payment slip for the asset(s) with an acceptable identification such as; Original National ID or Driving Permit or Passport. Thereafter, the asset will be handed over to the successful bidder(s) and URA will not have any further liability.
