Pursuant to Section 62 of the East African Community Customs Management Act 2004, the Commissioner Customs invites on-line applications for both new and renewal of Bonded Warehouse Licenses for companies interested in operating Customs Bonded Warehouses or Transit Yard/Hub for the year 2026.

Applications shall be made through the Customs operating system – ASYCUDA WORLD. The conditions for licensing (parameters) are accessible in the same system under Uganda Electronic Single Window binder (https://singlewindow.go.ug/uesw).

For renewal applications, there will be no need to re-submit the company documents that were already submitted or the photographs of Directors unless there were company changes made during the calendar year. The same applies to title of ownership documents.

The rest of the vital documents must be re-submitted that include Valid Tax clearance certificates, Valid tenancy agreements and Valid Trading license/Occupancy permits.

The application process involves the following functions:

• Create/fill and store an electronic C18 application document
• Register your application
• Do a self-assessment against corresponding licensing standards for the intended type of bonded warehouse
• Submit the application

In case of a successful application, an auto-generated payment slip for the licensing fees shall be electronically sent to the applicant and after payment of fees in preferred bank, an auto generated LICENSE shall be duly issued.

 All applicants should submit their application not later than Thursday, 20^th November 2025.
