Client Service Charter

I am pleased to present the FY 2025/26- 2029/30 URA Client Service Charter, which reflects our continued commitment to serving you with fairness and transparency, guided by our core values of Patriotism, Integrity, and Professionalism. This Charter outlines the standards you can expect from us and provides a platform for accountability as we work together to improve service delivery.

Uganda’s growing economy presents opportunities for businesses and individuals to support national development. However, the revenue funds health, education, infrastructure, and security. The Fourth National Development Plan (NDP IV) targets raising it to 20% through tax base expansion, better administration, exemptions reform, and digitalization.

In line with these national priorities, we are committed to making it easier for you to meet your tax obligations by simplifying processes, expanding digital services, strengthening taxpayer education, and providing timely and reliable support.
