Uganda Revenue Authority informs the general public that the rate of withholding tax of 6% on supplies of goods, materials or services ceased to apply to agricultural supplies, to the exclusion of processed agricultural products as reflected in a general public notice published on the October 15, 2018.

Uganda Revenue Authority would like to reiterate that processed rice attracts withholding tax at a rate of 6% on the gross payments.
