CUSTOMS AGENCY LICENSE 2026: ADDENDUM TO THE PUBLIC NOTICE ISSUED ON AUGUST 18, 2025

Pursuant to Section 145 (1) of the East African Community Customs Management Act, 2004 (as amended) and Regulation 149 – 152 of the East African Community Customs Management Regulations, 2010, the Commissioner Customs of the Uganda Revenue Authority invites applicants for renewal of Customs Agency Licenses for the Year 2026.

Application Form (Form No. C20), Licensing Conditions and Assessment Forms are accessible via https://singlewindow.go.ug/stp/#/

All applicants are advised to ensure that the electronic application is duly completed; all relevant information and documents as indicated on the Electronic Single Windows platform, are availed, scanned and uploaded to https://singlewindow.go.ug/stp/#/  not later than October 01, 2025.      

Authorised Economic Operators (AEO) companies will only be required to submit applications for automatic renewal of their Customs Agency License(s), subject to payment of the requisite fees.

The activities related to licensing will be conducted strictly within timelines below;

Competence Test for Declarants.

27th October 2025

Vetting applications.

1st September – 1st November 2025

Appeals for review

16th October – 16th November 2025

Final verification and Payment of License Fee.

1st September 2025 – 31st March 2026

Closing date for Issuance of Licenses.

31st March 2026
